Description: MIB for QoS class policy management in Cisco UCS, defining Ethernet best-effort, classified, and Fibre Channel priority classes on UCS fabric interconnects
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-QOSCLASS-MIB?
CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-QOSCLASS-MIB is a Cisco Systems proprietary MIB representing the QoS class management-information package within Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) Manager. Its QoS-class-definition table records instance ID, distinguished/relative name, description, policy level and owner, MMU (Memory Management Unit) buffer percentage, breakout-port count, and a set of FSM (Finite State Machine) fields tracking the class's provisioning progress (previous/current stage, remote-invocation result/error, timestamp, status, retry count). As a configuration/status MIB it lets a UCS administrator confirm a QoS class's buffer allocation and watch its FSM provisioning status for stalled or failed changes. It is deployed on Cisco UCS Manager-managed compute platforms. Engineers can download the CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-QOSCLASS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-QOSCLASS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Cisco UCS Manager-managed compute platforms
Monitoring Examples
A UCS administrator checks cucsQosclassDefinitionFsmStatus after changing a QoS class's MMU percentage to confirm the change completed successfully rather than stalling mid-provisioning.
What Can Be Monitored
- QoS class buffer allocation and provisioning (FSM) status
