What Is Zhone-VOICE-ANALOG-IF-MIB?
This is a Zhone Technologies private enterprise MIB for analog voice interfaces on Zhone customer-premises and access equipment, covering E&M, FXS, and FXO port types. It exposes configuration and status objects per analog voice port, such as port type, signaling parameters, and hook/line status for each FXS or FXO interface. Its monitoring value centers on interface/service status for voice ports — checking per-port state reveals whether an analog phone line or trunk connection is up, on-hook/off-hook, or has a signaling fault, the hardware-status equivalent for legacy analog voice gear. It builds on the general interface-table conventions of IF-MIB for indexing while adding Zhone-specific analog voice attributes. It is deployed on Zhone integrated access devices and multiservice access nodes providing analog voice alongside data services to residential or small-business subscribers. Engineers can download the Zhone-VOICE-ANALOG-IF-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
