What is zhoneVaIfCfgPCMEncoding?
Selects the PCM voice encoding law used on this interface: alaw(1), the standard for E1-based systems, or mulaw(2), the standard for T1-based systems. An admin sets this to match the encoding expected by the WAN facility (E1 vs T1) the port is ultimately carried over, since a mismatch causes distorted or garbled voice.
