Module: Zhone-VOICE-ANALOG-IF-MIB

OID (symbolic): Zhone-VOICE-ANALOG-IF-MIB::zhoneVaIfCfgTrunkConditioning

Description: The trunk conditioning setting specifies whether the FXS/FXO port should send the idle pattern to the network upon declaration of a Carrier Group Alarm(CGA) on the WAN link to which the port is assigned . In most cases leave the trunk conditioning setting at its default setting(off).

What is zhoneVaIfCfgTrunkConditioning?

Controls whether this FXS/FXO port sends an idle signal pattern toward the network when a Carrier Group Alarm (CGA) is declared on the WAN link the port is assigned to; the MIB recommends leaving this at its default of off(1) in most cases. An admin would only change this from off if a specific interworking requirement calls for signaling trunk conditioning during a WAN alarm.
