Description: Manages ZTE ZXR10 MPLS Traffic Engineering tunnels, RSVP-TE signaling, and constraint-based path computation.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ZXR10-MPLS-TE-MIB?

ZXR10-MPLS-TE-MIB is a ZTE implementation of the IETF MPLS Traffic Engineering MIB (originally published as RFC 3812, building on RSVP-TE extensions in RFC 3209 and constraint-based LDP setup in RFC 3212) for the ZXR10 platform. It exposes configuration and operational data for MPLS TE tunnels, including RSVP-TE signaling parameters and constraint-based path computation results. This MIB is used to monitor the software/protocol status of TE tunnels on the device — whether tunnels are signaled and up, and what path and bandwidth constraints they are using — which is central to verifying traffic-engineered paths are behaving as designed across the backbone. As a direct vendor implementation of a standards-track MIB, it has a strong dependency on the underlying MPLS and RSVP-TE standards it implements, and typically pairs with the ZXR10 MPLS-TE-FRR-MIB for protection. It is deployed on ZTE ZXR10 routers in service-provider MPLS core networks using traffic engineering for bandwidth guarantees and path control. Engineers can download the ZXR10-MPLS-TE-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-MPLS-TE-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • ZTE ZXR10 router

Monitoring Examples

No object names were captured for this MIB, so a specific table cannot be honestly cited; in practice an operator would poll the TE tunnel table for signaling status, actual/reserved bandwidth, and selected path, noticing a traffic-engineering problem if a tunnel fails to signal, falls back to a suboptimal path, or reports insufficient reservable bandwidth.

What Can Be Monitored

  • MPLS TE tunnel signaling status
  • reserved/actual tunnel bandwidth
  • constraint-based path selection
  • RSVP-TE session state
