This object names the multicast CAC (Call Admission Control) policy applied to a subscriber profile, controlling whether multicast channels can be added based on available bandwidth. The named policy enforces subscriber-level CAC rules when the channel is part of the specified MCAC policy. A service provider uses this to prevent oversubscription of multicast resources and ensure fair allocation among subscribers on congested shared networks.
