This configuration object determines whether the DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point) value from L2TP headers in incoming PPP subscriber traffic should be used to set the egress Forwarding Class for traffic classification and prioritization. When enabled, the system extracts the DSCP from ingress L2TP packets and applies that quality-of-service class to outgoing traffic, providing consistent QoS treatment across the subscriber connection. This is particularly useful in mobile backhaul and subscriber access networks where L2TP tunneling is used.
