Description: Manages SAF Tehnika Integra-X microwave radio variant configuration and performance monitoring.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is SAF-INTEGRAX-MIB?

SAF-INTEGRAX-MIB is a vendor MIB from SAF Tehnika for the Integra-X series of point-to-point microwave radio links, used in telecom backhaul and long-distance wireless transmission. It exposes per-radio-side (A/B) configuration and performance objects covering transmit power, transmit/receive frequency, receive signal level and its threshold state, duplex shift, mute status/duration, and radio temperature. Its monitoring emphasis is hardware/RF link status: tracking receive signal level state and radio temperature to catch a degrading microwave link or an overheating radio unit before it causes an outage. It builds on the shared SAF-TC-MIB textual conventions used across SAF Tehnika's product MIBs. It is deployed on SAF Tehnika Integra-X microwave radio terminals at both ends of a wireless backhaul link. Engineers can download the SAF-INTEGRAX-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SAF-INTEGRAX-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • SAF Tehnika Integra-X microwave radio link terminal

Monitoring Examples

An administrator would poll integraXradioArxLevel and integraXradioArxLevelState for both radio side A and B to detect a receive signal level dropping into a warning or fail threshold, indicating link degradation from weather, antenna misalignment, or interference. integraXradioAtemperature would be checked to catch an overheating radio unit, while integraXradioAtxPower and integraXradioAtxFrequency confirm the transmitter is operating at its configured power and frequency, and integraXradioAtxMute/integraXradioAtxMuteDuration would reveal if the transmitter has been intentionally or unexpectedly muted.

What Can Be Monitored

  • receive signal level and threshold state
  • transmit power
  • transmit/receive frequency
  • radio temperature
  • transmit mute status/duration
  • duplex shift setting
