Description: Manages SAF Tehnika Integra-E microwave radio variant configuration and performance monitoring.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is SAF-INTEGRAE-MIB?

SAF-INTEGRAE-MIB is a vendor-specific SNMP module from SAF Tehnika for its Integra-E series of point-to-point microwave radio links, part of the wireless backhaul/transmission equipment category. It exposes configuration and monitoring data organized under radio, modem, and system subtrees, covering RF transmit/receive parameters, link timing, and device identification. It is explicitly used to monitor hardware health and operating status of the radio unit, including transmit power, receive signal level, transmit/receive frequency, radio-side/duplex settings, transmit mute state and duration, and internal radio temperature — key indicators of link quality and hardware condition. As a self-contained vendor enterprise MIB it has no strong dependency on other standard MIBs beyond base SNMPv2 SMI conventions. It is typically deployed by wireless ISPs and telecom operators managing point-to-point microwave links in backhaul networks, polling the radios via SNMP to ensure link stability and detect RF or hardware degradation. Engineers can download the SAF-INTEGRAE-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SAF-INTEGRAE-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • SAF Tehnika Integra-E microwave radio link

Monitoring Examples

An operator would poll integraEradioTxPower and integraEradioRxLevel alongside integraEradioTxFrequency/integraEradioRxFrequency to confirm the link is transmitting/receiving at expected power and frequency; a sudden drop in integraEradioRxLevel typically signals a fade, misalignment, or obstruction on the microwave path. integraEradioTemperature can be trended to catch overheating before it causes an outage, while integraEradioTxMute and integraEradioTxMuteDuration reveal whether the transmitter has been deliberately muted (e.g., during maintenance) and for how long. The integraEradioRangesTable/integraEradioRangeEntry rows let an NMS enumerate valid operating ranges per radio side (integraEradioSide) for configuration validation.

What Can Be Monitored

  • radio transmit power
  • radio receive signal level
  • transmit/receive frequency
  • radio temperature
  • transmit mute state/duration
  • duplex shift configuration
