Rising ngwovvmOutErrors or ngwovvmInErrors relative to ngwovvmOutMsgs/ngwovvmInMsgs would indicate a growing proportion of failed message transfers, while ngwovvmOutBytes and ngwovvmInBytes give a sense of mail traffic volume through the gateway identified by ngwovvmGatewayName.
