What Is FRSLD-MIB?
FRSLD-MIB is a vendor-neutral IETF-derived MIB implementing the Frame Relay Forum's FRF.13 Service Level Definitions, which standardize metrics for measuring the quality of service delivered over a Frame Relay network. It exposes objects for service-level performance metrics such as data delivery ratio, frame delay, and service availability, allowing comparison of actual network performance against contracted service levels. Its monitoring focus is performance/service-quality status rather than hardware health, letting an operator track whether a Frame Relay service meets committed availability and delivery-ratio targets over a measurement interval. It explicitly depends on the FRF.13 specification from the Frame Relay Forum and is a standards-based module rather than a proprietary vendor extension. It is deployed by carriers and enterprises as an FRSLD-MIB reference for measuring Frame Relay circuit SLAs across a WAN.
