Description: Fujitsu ETERNUS DX100 S1/E101 disk array MIB for storage system monitoring including logical unit, controller, and enclosure status.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is FJDARY-E101?

FJDARY-E101 is Fujitsu's proprietary MIB for its ETERNUS DX100 (E101-series) disk array storage systems, providing management objects and trap definitions for monitoring the array's operational status. It exposes general categories including overall unit/array status, hardware identification (machine ID, worldwide node name, vendor/product IDs, configuration date), and a rich set of trap objects carrying sensor, maintenance, and warning information. This MIB is heavily oriented toward hardware fault monitoring: fjdaryUnitStatus gives the overall health of the storage unit while the trap objects (fjdaryTrapSensorInfo, fjdaryTrapMaintenanceInfo, fjdaryTrapWarningInfo, fjdaryTrapCode/Message) surface hardware faults such as failed components, environmental sensor alarms, and maintenance conditions on controllers, enclosures, or logical units. There is no strong apparent dependency on other standard MIBs — it is a largely self-contained vendor trap/status module. It is deployed on Fujitsu ETERNUS DX100 S1 (E101-series) SAN disk arrays in enterprise storage environments, monitored for controller, enclosure, and logical unit health. Network engineers evaluating or troubleshooting this functionality can download the FJDARY-E101 file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in FJDARY-E101. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Fujitsu ETERNUS DX100 S1 / E101-series disk array

Monitoring Examples

An admin would poll fjdaryUnitStatus to get the overall health state of the storage array and watch for incoming traps carrying fjdaryTrapSensorInfo or fjdaryTrapWarningInfo to catch developing hardware issues before a component fails outright. When a trap arrives, fjdaryTrapCode and fjdaryTrapMessage identify the specific fault condition while fjdaryTrapItemId pinpoints the affected sub-component (e.g., a specific disk, controller, or enclosure). Cross-referencing fjdarySspMachineId and fjdarySspWwnn against fjdaryTrapMaintenanceInfo lets the admin confirm which physical array unit generated a maintenance alert when managing multiple ETERNUS arrays.

What Can Be Monitored

  • overall unit/array status
  • sensor alarm info
  • maintenance condition info
  • warning trap codes/messages
  • array machine ID/WWNN identification
