What Is DLINKSW-STORM-CTRL-MIB?

DLINKSW-STORM-CTRL-MIB is a D-Link Corp. proprietary MIB configuring broadcast/multicast/unknown-unicast Storm Control. Its objects cover a global notify-enable flag, polling interval/retries, a threshold table (traffic type, threshold type, rise/low threshold values), a per-interface action-type table, a traffic-info table (current traffic unit type/value, status), and storm-occurred/storm-cleared notifications with notify traffic type. As a configuration/notification MIB it lets an administrator confirm storm-control thresholds and get alerted when a traffic storm is detected or clears on a D-Link switch. It is deployed on D-Link switching equipment (Storm Control). Engineers can download the DLINKSW-STORM-CTRL-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
