NOTE:The default value of this object is none(1).

What is dStormCtrlNotifyEnable?

This enumerated object controls when the switch generates a storm-control notification: never, only when a storm starts, only when it clears, or both. Admins set it to both(4) to get complete visibility into broadcast, multicast, or unknown-unicast storm events on monitored ports without manually polling traffic counters. Setting it to stormOccurred(2) means the switch traps only when a storm is first detected, staying silent afterward, while the default none(1) sends no notifications at all.
