Module: DLINKSW-STORM-CTRL-MIB

OID (symbolic): DLINKSW-STORM-CTRL-MIB::dStormCtrlLowThresholdValue

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.26.25.1.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: Specifies the low level threshold. A special value of -1 indicates low level is not specified. The default value will be 80% of the value of the corresponding dStormCtrlRiseThresholdValue if applicable.

What is dStormCtrlLowThresholdValue?

This value sets the traffic rate below which storm control considers a previously-detected storm to have cleared for that traffic type on the interface. Admins use it to add hysteresis to storm detection, preventing rapid flapping between storm and cleared states around the rise threshold. A value of -1 means no low threshold is specified, so it defaults to 80% of the configured dStormCtrlRiseThresholdValue.
