Description: Specify the retry count. If the action is configured as 'shutdown' mode and storm keep as long as interval * retries, the port will enters error-disabled state.
The effective range is from 1 to 360.
0 means that a 'shutdown' mode port will directly enter error-disabled state when storm is detected.
-1 means that a 'shutdown' mode port will never enter error-disabled state even if storm is detected.
What is dStormCtrlPollingRetries?
This value sets how many consecutive storm-detection polling intervals must occur before a port configured with the 'shutdown' storm-control action is put into the error-disabled state. Admins tune it to control how tolerant a shutdown-mode port is of brief storms: 0 disables it immediately on first detection, -1 disables the shutdown action entirely, and a positive number requires that many repeated detections. Setting it to 5 with a 5-second polling interval means a port stays up for about 25 seconds of sustained storm traffic before it is error-disabled.
