Category: Domain: WAN
Description: MIB for DL5400 series devices providing system status, interface configuration, and performance monitoring objects.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is DL5400-MIB?
DL5400-MIB is a legacy proprietary MIB (enterprise OID 300, DL5400 unit) reporting unit identity and Ethernet DTE configuration. Its objects cover unit serial number/name, hardware/software/MIB revision, front panel, date/time (year/month/day/hour/minute/second) and timezone, LED status, a timestamp, model type, route mode, Telnet idle timeout, and a DTE-Ethernet table (index, IP address, subnet mask, MAC address). As a status/configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm unit firmware version and Ethernet DTE addressing on this legacy DL5400 unit. It is deployed on legacy DL5400 access/transport equipment. Engineers can download the DL5400-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in DL5400-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Legacy DL5400 access/transport equipment
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks unitSwRev and dteEnetIpAddress to confirm firmware version and Ethernet DTE addressing on this legacy DL5400 unit.
What Can Be Monitored
- unit firmware identity and Ethernet DTE addressing
