What Is CISCOSB-COPY-MIB?

It exposes a copy-operation table capturing source and destination locations (network address, file system, unit number), file names/types, and the identity of the application that initiated each transfer. It is primarily used to monitor firmware upgrade and configuration backup/restore jobs -- tracking whether a copy operation is in progress, succeeded, or failed lets an operator confirm a software-version update or configuration change completed correctly, functioning as a software-status check rather than a hardware sensor. An administrator would poll rlCopyTable/rlCopyEntry indexed by rlCopyIndex to track an in-progress firmware or configuration transfer, checking rlCopySourceFileName, rlCopySourceFileType, rlCopySourceLocation, and rlCopyDestinationLocation to confirm which file is being copied and where it is headed. The rlCopyApplicationId and rlCopyMirror fields identify which management application requested the copy and whether it targets a mirrored unit, letting an operator spot a stalled or failed firmware push during a software upgrade.
