What Is ACD-TWAMP-GEN-MIB?

Rather than reporting hardware health directly, this MIB's core purpose is software-level active performance monitoring: an operator uses it to confirm the TWAMP measurement function is producing valid, current results (via the delay-valid flag) and to detect network performance degradation via delay/jitter trend data. An operator would poll acdTwampGenResultTable/acdTwampGenResultEntry, indexed by acdTwampGenResultID, checking acdTwampGenResultTwoWayDelayValid to confirm the current measurement period produced trustworthy data before reading acdTwampGenResultTwoWayDelayInstValue and acdTwampGenResultTwoWayDelayCurrMinValue for round-trip delay statistics. acdTwampGenResultCurrTxPacketCount versus acdTwampGenResultCurrRxPacketCount reveals packet loss on the measured path if the received count falls short of transmitted. A sustained rise in the two-way delay values relative to baseline would indicate network congestion or a routing change degrading the monitored circuit's performance.
