This OID stores the current one-way delay measurement from the far end back toward the near end, expressed in microseconds. A network engineer compares this with near-end delay to detect asymmetric routing or directional link quality problems. A value of 7000 microseconds (7 ms) from the far end combined with 5000 microseconds from the near end reveals asymmetry in the path.
