This theme covers internal power-rail monitoring — which specific voltage rail is being measured, such as 3.3V logic, 5V fans, or CPU core voltage, a human-readable description of that rail's location, the actual measured value, often in millivolts, and alert notifications when a rail's voltage shifts unexpectedly. Admins use the rail-identification and description objects together to know exactly which component's power supply a reading refers to, since a failing 5V rail affects different hardware than a failing CPU core-voltage rail, and set alert thresholds on the measured-value object to catch power drifting outside safe limits before it causes instability or damage.
