What Is VOICE-OPT-MIB?
VOICE-OPT-MIB is a private MIB (enterprise OID 449, Cisco cdx6500 product family) configuring voice port parameters for DSPM/E&M, DSPM/FXS, DSPM/HC, and DSPM/SM voice interface cards. Its port table records interface/signaling type, E-lead filtering, hybrid FXS/E&M mode, signaling mode/control, digit-collection count, ring count, PCM mode and compression rate, DSI control, smoothing delay, echo control/return-loss, transmit input/receive output signal levels, fax support/rates, voice-band detection, and auto-call mnemonic. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm a voice port's echo-control and signal-level settings match the intended PBX/carrier interconnection. It is deployed on cdx6500-family voice-gateway equipment. Engineers can download the VOICE-OPT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
