Category: DASAN Networks SLE OLT Management, VoIP and Telephony

Description: Manages DASAN Networks SLE OLT VoIP service configuration, codec profiles, and call quality monitoring.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is SLE-VOIP-MIB?

SLE-VOIP-MIB is a DASAN (Zhone/DASAN Network Solutions, SLE broadband access platform) proprietary MIB configuring per-interface VoIP signaling and RMON-style feature support. Its objects cover interface, protocol, RTCP enable, fax mode, a base-control request/status/timer/timestamp/result/interface/protocol/RTCP/fax-mode set with changed-flags and restart-stack-only/restart-all actions, and a voice table (index, encoding, user-encoding, comfort-noise). As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm VoIP signaling protocol and codec/comfort-noise settings per interface on a DASAN SLE access platform. It is deployed on DASAN SLE broadband access platforms (VoIP). Engineers can download the SLE-VOIP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SLE-VOIP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • DASAN SLE broadband access platforms (VoIP)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks sleVoipProtocol and sleVoipVoiceEncoding to confirm VoIP signaling and codec configuration on a DASAN SLE access platform interface.

What Can Be Monitored
