What Is PDN-DS1EXT-MIB?
PDN-DS1EXT-MIB is a Paradyne Corp MIB Working Group proprietary MIB extending the standard DS1/E1 MIB (RFC 2495) with additional line-configuration objects not covered by the RFC. Its configuration table, keyed by interface, records line-length type/length, line build-out, and connector type. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm DS1/E1 line-build-out and connector settings that the standard RFC 2495 MIB does not expose. It is deployed on Paradyne WAN access equipment with DS1/G.703(E1) interfaces. Engineers can download the PDN-DS1EXT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in PDN-DS1EXT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
