What Is Juniper-System-Clock-MIB?

Juniper-System-Clock-MIB is a Juniper Networks enterprise MIB for the E-series router platform covering system clock/date-time configuration and Network Time Protocol (NTP) client/server management per RFC 1305. It exposes the current system date/time, timezone name, and detailed daylight-saving-time (DST) rules including recurring or absolute start/stop schedules. This MIB primarily supports software/configuration status monitoring: confirming the router's system clock and timezone are correctly set matters because accurate timestamps underpin correlating log/trap/event data across a network, and incorrect DST or clock settings can cause scheduling and certificate-validation issues.
