Description: Displays the peer reachability status. An 8-bit number that shows whether or not the peer server responded to the last eight requests to the server to which it has association; one indicates a response, zero indicates no response. Count from rightmost to leftmost as latest to later requests as reachability states.
For example, 0b11111111 indicates that the peer server responded to the last eight requests. If the system client reaches one peer server less often than it does other peer servers, that server is not a good choice for the master
What is juniNtpPeerReachability?
An 8-bit shift-register value showing whether a peer responded to each of the last eight poll/request cycles (1 = response, 0 = no response), read rightmost-to-leftmost as most-recent-to-oldest, per its DESCRIPTION, where 0b11111111 means all eight were answered. A peer with a low reachability score is a poor choice for the NTP master and worth investigating for connectivity issues.
