What Is HPN-ICF-MPM-MIB?

This MIB manages HP/Comware's MPM feature, described in the module source as "Multicast Port Management" though vendor documentation elsewhere refers to it as Multi-Protocol Multiplexing channel configuration, used to configure packet encapsulation/multiplexing channels on WAN interfaces. It belongs to the HP/H3C ICF family and is primarily configuration-oriented, defining channel and encapsulation parameters rather than broad runtime statistics. Its monitoring value would be in confirming the software-level configuration state of MPM channels matches intent, which matters when troubleshooting WAN encapsulation mismatches between two ends of a serial or channelized link.
