This read-create EnabledStatus, defaulting to disabled, controls what happens when a port's IGMP group count reaches the value configured in hpnicfMPortGroupLimitNumber: if enabled, a new group replaces the existing group with the lowest multicast address; if disabled, the new group is simply rejected. Admins use it to decide whether a saturated port should churn through low-priority groups to admit new ones or strictly enforce the cap and drop new join attempts. For example, enabling replace on a port limited to 8 groups lets a newly requested channel bump out whichever joined group currently has the smallest multicast address.
