What is hpnicfMPortGroupAddress?
This read-only value reports the multicast IP address that a specific port in a VLAN has actually joined, and per the MIB it must be a valid multicast address. It gives an admin real-time visibility into which multicast streams a port is currently receiving, independent of how the join was triggered (IGMP snooping or static configuration). For example, polling this on interface 1/0/1 in VLAN 10 might return 239.1.1.1, confirming the port is receiving that IPTV multicast stream.
