What Is GDCUAS7624-MIB?
GDCUAS7624-MIB is General DataComm's proprietary MIB for the UAS7624, a 24-port universal access system used as a channel bank/access multiplexer in telecom carrier networks. It exposes card identification and version data, plus a per-line maintenance table for operational control. Hardware/software status monitoring is central to the MIB: firmware revision, boot ROM revision, card type, and per-line maintenance/soft-reset state are all tracked so operators can confirm a chassis is running the expected software after an upgrade or field service action. It is a standalone enterprise MIB rooted under the gdc OID arc with no apparent dependency on other standard MIBs. It is typically deployed in telco central office or customer-premises access multiplexer chassis providing 24-port channelized access service. Engineers can download the GDCUAS7624-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

An administrator walks uas7624VersionTable, indexed by uas7624VersionIndex, to compare uas7624FirmwareRev and uas7624BootRev across installed cards and confirm a firmware rollout completed uniformly. The uas7624MaintenanceTable, indexed by uas7624MaintenanceLineIndex, shows which lines have been placed into maintenance mode, and an unexpected uas7624SoftReset event correlated with a service outage would flag a card that reset unexpectedly rather than on command.
