This read-write setting controls whether an out-of-sync condition on the addressed loop interface (line 1-4, interface 1-3) activates the chassis's Major alarm bus, Minor alarm bus, or is disabled. An admin uses this to escalate loss of loop synchronization to the backplane alarm system.
