Module: DKSF-707-2-X-X-1

OID (symbolic): DKSF-707-2-X-X-1::npForcedReboot

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25728.911.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Write 1 to immediate forced reboot

What is npForcedReboot?

This object is a control that triggers an immediate, forced reboot of the device when written. Admins write the value 1 here when a normal reboot via npSoftReboot isn't sufficient, such as when the device is unresponsive and needs an unconditional restart right away. For example, writing 1 to this object during a firmware hang forces the device to restart immediately rather than waiting for current operations to complete.
