What Is ACC-MDMMGR?

ACC-MDMMGR is a vendor-specific MIB module for ACC (later acquired by Ericsson) dial-up remote-access equipment, used to manage modem pools embedded in or attached to these routers. It exposes configuration and status data for modem pool assignments, per-call progress state, and line quality metrics for dial-up connections. Because no module description or sample objects were available in the source, its runtime object structure could not be directly inspected, but per its role it would be used to monitor modem hardware health and call-handling status, such as whether individual modems are in service, on a call, or in an error state, and the quality of the analog line. It likely depends on standard SNMP framework MIBs (SNMPv2-SMI, SNMPv2-TC) for its object definitions, as is typical for vendor enterprise MIBs of this era. It would typically be deployed in ISP or enterprise remote-access server (RAS) environments where banks of modems terminate dial-up subscriber connections.
