Description: Manages ZTE ZXR10 router enhanced ACL configuration with extended matching criteria and policy actions.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ZXR10-ACL-NEW-MIB?

ZXR10-ACL-NEW-MIB is a ZTE ZXR10 router MIB providing an enhanced Access Control List (ACL) configuration model, supporting extended IPv4 match criteria (source/destination address and wildcard) and rule-level permit/deny policy actions. It exposes configuration data organized into ACL list and rule tables, including global ACL objects and ACL-related notifications. This is largely a security-policy configuration MIB rather than a hardware-fault MIB, but its notifications group provides software-level event visibility -- for example when ACL rules are added, changed, or hit -- supporting audit and troubleshooting of the router's traffic-filtering behavior. It is a ZTE ZXROS-specific enhancement of standard ACL concepts, likely superseding an earlier/simpler ACL MIB (implied by the "-NEW" naming) without an explicit external standard dependency. It is deployed on ZTE ZXR10 series routers/switches where fine-grained IPv4 ACL policy needs to be provisioned and audited via SNMP, and the ZXR10-ACL-NEW-MIB download is available for administrators to load into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-ACL-NEW-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • ZTE ZXR10 series routers/switches

Monitoring Examples

An admin would poll zxr10ACLv4ListTable/zxr10ACLv4ListEntry (zxr10ACLv4ListName) to enumerate configured ACLs, then zxr10ACLv4RuleTable/zxr10ACLv4RuleEntry to inspect individual rules by zxr10ACLv4RuleAclName and zxr10ACLv4RuleRuleID, checking zxr10ACLv4RulePermitDeny against the configured zxr10ACLv4RuleSrcAddr/SrcWildcard and zxr10ACLv4RuleDestAddr/DestWildcard. Discovering a rule with an unexpectedly broad wildcard mask permitting traffic that should be denied would reveal a security policy misconfiguration; zxr10ACLNotifications could also be watched for unexpected ACL change events.

What Can Be Monitored

  • configured ACL list names
  • ACL rule match criteria (source/destination address, wildcard)
  • ACL rule permit/deny action
  • ACL configuration change notifications
