Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ZXR10-ADM-MGR-MIB?

The ZXR10-ADM-MGR-MIB is a ZTE proprietary MIB for the ZXR10 family of carrier and enterprise routers, covering administrative domain configuration and management access control. It exposes configuration-oriented data such as administrator accounts, privilege/domain assignments, and rules governing who may access device management interfaces. Rather than hardware sensors, this module is used to monitor the software-level security posture of the device: which management domains exist, what access levels are assigned, and whether unauthorized configuration changes could occur. As an administrative-access MIB it is typically used alongside ZTE's broader enterprise MIB tree and standard SNMPv3 USM/VACM security models rather than as a standalone monitoring tool. It is deployed on ZXR10 series routers and switches in service-provider and large enterprise networks where centralized management-access auditing is required. Engineers can download the ZXR10-ADM-MGR-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-ADM-MGR-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • ZTE ZXR10 series routers
  • ZTE ZXR10 series switches

Monitoring Examples

An operator could poll the admin domain configuration objects to confirm which management domains and access levels are currently provisioned on a ZXR10 router, and detect unexpected additions of administrative accounts. Because no packet-level counters are exposed, this MIB is used more for periodic configuration audits than for continuous performance monitoring.

What Can Be Monitored

  • administrator account configuration
  • management domain assignments
  • access control settings
  • administrative privilege levels
