What is vRtrRipStatus?
This object controls the administrative state of the RIP routing protocol on a virtual router, allowing operators to enable, disable, or delete the RIP instance. Network engineers use it during configuration to activate RIP for IPv4 routing without restarting the router. Attempting to delete RIP will fail if the protocol is not already in the outOfService state, ensuring safe transitions.
