Description: The desired state for Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) Protocol on this virtual router. An attempt to set vRtrMldStatus to 'delete' will fail if the MLD protocol is not in the administrative outOfService state, i.e. TIMETRA-MLD-MIB::vRtrMldGenAdminState must be set to 'outOfService'.
What is vRtrMldStatus?
This object controls the operational status of Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) Protocol on a virtual router in an Alcatel-Lucent system. MLD is the IPv6 equivalent of IGMP and enables the router to track which multicast groups have listeners on each interface. An operator would enable or disable MLD based on whether the network needs to support IPv6 multicast applications.
