Module: TIMETRA-VRTR-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-VRTR-MIB::vRtrMidRouteThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.3.1.1.20

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-create

Description: The value of vRtrMidRouteThreshold specifies the mid-level water marker for the number of routes which this VRF may hold. When this limit is exceeded a tmnxVRtrMidRouteTCA notification is generated.

A value of 0 (zero) for this object indicates that the threshold is infinite, and the notification will never be sent.

What is vRtrMidRouteThreshold?

This configurable threshold specifies the percentage of route capacity at which a mid-level warning (TCA notification) should be triggered for a Virtual Router or VRF. When the number of routes held exceeds this mid-point threshold, the system generates an alert to warn operators before the VRF reaches its maximum route capacity. Administrators set this value to proactively monitor route table growth and prevent route exhaustion in mission-critical VRFs.
