Description: The value of vRtrInetStaticRouteCpeDropCnt specifies the number of consecutive ping-replies that must be missed before concluding the CPE is down. If the CPE is determined to be down, the associated static route will be deactivated.

What is vRtrInetStaticRouteCpeDropCnt?

This OID holds a number that specifies how many consecutive failed ping attempts should occur before the system decides that a CPE (Customer Premise Equipment, like a remote office router) is down. When this limit is reached, the static route to that CPE is automatically disabled. A network operator might set this to 3 for sensitive links where quick detection is needed, or higher for unreliable networks.
