Category: DASAN Networks SLE OLT Management

Description: Manages DASAN Networks SLE OLT VRRP redundancy groups, virtual router configuration, and failover status.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is SLE-VRRP-MIB?

SLE-VRRP-MIB is a DASAN Networks proprietary MIB implementing VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) on SLE-series access equipment. Its base-info objects record VRRPv2-compatibility mode, virtual MAC, and delegate setting, with a parallel control-request/status/timer/result mechanism for applying changes, while a per-VRRP-session table (v4) records VRID, interface, status, accept mode, advertisement interval, circuit-failover interface and priority delta, preempt mode, priority, switch-back delay, and virtual IP value/ownership. As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm a VRRP group's priority and preempt settings, and audit circuit-failover behavior tied to an uplink. It is deployed on DASAN Networks SLE-series access equipment. Engineers can download the SLE-VRRP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SLE-VRRP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • DASAN Networks SLE-series access equipment

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks sleVrrp4SessionCircuitFailOverIfIndex and PriorityDelta to confirm a VRRP group will correctly reduce its priority and yield mastership if a tracked uplink fails on a DASAN SLE switch.

What Can Be Monitored

  • VRRP session priority, preempt mode, and circuit-failover configuration
