Description: The parameter upstreamLineMirrorVlanPriority is used in conjunction with upstreamLineMirrorVlanId when upstream traffic mirroring is enabled. upstreamLineMirrorVlanPriority specifies the VLAN priority used when sending the mirrored traffic on the IP DSLAM uplink interface.
The value configured with upstreamLineMirrorVlanPriority will survive a restart of the IP DSLAM.
What is upstreamLineMirrorVlanPriority?
This sets the VLAN priority (0-7, defaulting to 6) applied to the mirrored copy of upstream traffic sent out the IP DSLAM's uplink when upstream line mirroring is active. Administrators use it to ensure mirrored diagnostic traffic gets appropriate handling priority on the uplink relative to regular subscriber traffic, and the setting persists across a device restart. Leaving this at the default of 6 would give mirrored upstream traffic a relatively high 802.1p priority, helping ensure the monitoring copy isn't dropped under uplink congestion.
