Description: The parameter downstreamLineMirrorVlanPriority is used in conjunction with downstreamLineMirrorVlanId when upstream traffic mirroring is enabled. downstreamLineMirrorVlanPriority specifies the VLAN priority used when sending the mirrored traffic on the IP DSLAM uplink interface.
The value configured with downstreamLineMirrorVlanPriority will survive a restart of the IP DSLAM.
What is downstreamLineMirrorVlanPriority?
This sets the VLAN priority (0-7, defaulting to 6) applied to mirrored downstream traffic sent out the IP DSLAM's uplink when downstream mirroring is enabled for a line. Administrators use it to control how the mirrored monitoring traffic is prioritized relative to normal subscriber traffic on the shared uplink, ensuring diagnostic copies aren't starved during congestion, and the value persists across restarts. Using the default value of 6 would give downstream-mirrored traffic the same elevated priority level as the corresponding upstream mirror setting.
