What Is CISCO-VISM-PORT-MIB?

CISCO-VISM-PORT-MIB is a Cisco Systems, Inc. proprietary MIB (built on CISCOWAN-SMI) reporting port configuration on the VISM (Voice Interworking Service Module) for Cisco WAN switches. Its config-group table, keyed by port, records row status, line number, port type, DS0-config bitmap, speed, and state. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm DS0 channel allocation and port state on a Cisco VISM voice-gateway module. It is deployed on Cisco Systems VISM (Voice Interworking Service Module) equipment. Engineers can download the CISCO-VISM-PORT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

I32 vismPortNum	1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.2.1.1.1.1	Integer32	read-only	This is a logical port number. If PXM1 (Processor Switch Module) is the PXM used on the shelf this object should be set to 1. For PXM1E this object should be set to 255.
INT vismPortRowStatus	1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.2.1.1.1.2	INTEGER	read-create	The object add, delete or modify a port. 'add' - add a port, a port acn only be added if the status is in 'del'. 'del' - delete a port, once a port is deleted the status is chane to 'del'. The port can only be deleted after deleting all the connections and the resource partition. 'mod' - modify a port and change status to 'mod'.
I32 vismPortSpeed	1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.2.1.1.1.6	Integer32	read-create	The speed of the port in cells per second. It is used by VISM card to advertise virtual port bandwidth to the controller, SVC(Switched Virtual Circuit) and PVC(Permanent Virtual Circuit) connection admission control and aggregate traffic clipping. This object can be modified only when there is no existing resource partition on the port.
INT vismPortState	1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.2.1.1.1.7	INTEGER	read-only	This object indicates the state of the port.
INT vismPortType	1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.2.1.1.1.4	INTEGER	read-create	The value of this object is always set to 'voIP'. It indicates that network port. The same value is used even when VISM supports VoAAL1 or VoAAL2.
