What Is CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-MO-MIB?

CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-MO-MIB is a generic Cisco UCS MIB that exposes key-value metadata annotations and IPv4 address key-value bindings attached to arbitrary managed objects (MOs) within a UCS domain, along with file-transfer operational state for object-related transfers. Rather than modeling a specific hardware or feature area, it provides a general-purpose annotation and bookkeeping layer used across the UCS information model. Its monitoring relevance is modest and largely software/metadata-status oriented: tracking custom key-value tags on objects and the state of ongoing file transfers (such as configuration exports or backups) tied to managed objects. It relies on the shared Cisco UCS object-model conventions (Dn, Rn, instance ID) common across the CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-* family, of which it forms a foundational, cross-cutting part. It is used within Cisco UCS Manager/UCS Central environments wherever generic object metadata or file-transfer status needs to be queried via SNMP alongside more specific UCS MIBs. An operator could poll cucsMoInvKvTable/cucsMoInvKvEntry, using cucsMoInvKvKey and cucsMoInvKvValue to read a custom metadata tag (owned per cucsMoInvKvOwner) attached to a managed object identified by cucsMoInvKvDn. Separately, cucsMoIpV4AddrKvTable/cucsMoIpV4AddrKvEntry would be checked to confirm an IPv4 address key-value binding recorded against a managed object matches its expected configuration. This MIB is best understood as generic metadata/bookkeeping support rather than a dedicated hardware-health table.
