What Is CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-MEMORY-MIB?

CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-MEMORY-MIB is part of the Cisco UCS Manager MIB suite and provides hardware inventory and health data for physical memory in UCS blade and rack servers. It exposes memory array-level attributes such as CPU association, current and maximum capacity, error-correction type (e.g. ECC), model, and part/device counts, as well as related per-DIMM operability and error statistics. This is squarely a hardware-status MIB: it is used to monitor memory capacity utilization, detect unsupported or degraded error-correction configurations, and identify failed or degraded DIMMs before they cause a server crash or data corruption. It depends on the general UCS Manager equipment/inventory object model shared with CPU, power supply, and fan MIBs. It is deployed for ongoing CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-MEMORY-MIB SNMP monitoring of hardware health across Cisco UCS blade and rack server fleets.
