Description:
The desired state for RIP on this virtual router. An attempt to set vRtrRipStatus to 'delete' will fail if the RIP protocol is not in the admininistrative outOfService state.
What is vRtrRipStatus?
This OID controls whether the RIP routing protocol is active or suspended on a virtual router; it can be enabled, disabled, or marked for deletion. The setting determines whether this router will participate in dynamic routing updates with neighbors. An engineer enables this when adding a new virtual router that needs to discover routes from neighboring routers.
