Description: Alcatel 7750 SR service router global MIB defining enterprise OID registrations and system-wide object definitions.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-GLOBAL-MIB?

ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-GLOBAL-MIB is a vendor-specific registration module for the Alcatel(-Lucent) 7x50 SR series service routers, defining the root timetra OID branch under which all other Alcatel SR MIBs (services, generic system objects, product identifiers, agent capabilities) are registered. It does not itself expose operational or hardware data; rather it establishes the enterprise OID namespace and top-level product/service branches used by the rest of the Timetra MIB suite. It has no direct role in reporting uptime, temperature, or software status on its own, since those are covered by the more specific Timetra MIBs (e.g., chassis, system, or interface MIBs) registered beneath this root. Every other Alcatel 7x50 SR MIB depends on this module for its OID placement, including the tmnxAgentCapability object that documents which features the agent implements, and navigating the ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-GLOBAL-MIB OID tree is often the first step an operator takes to locate the correct branch for a specific chassis or service MIB. It is used exclusively in the context of Alcatel-Lucent 7x50 SR series service routers running SR OS.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-GLOBAL-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Nokia 7750 SR-14s (2024) — FP5-silicon service router, up to 230 Tbps scalable capacity
  • Nokia 7750 SR-1s (2021) — compact 2RU service router with 800G QSFP-DD optics

Monitoring Examples

This module itself defines only OID registration nodes (timetra, timetraReg, timetraProducts, timetraServiceSwitches) and the tmnxAgentCapability object rather than runtime counters or status, so there is no monitoring scenario to describe directly; its role is to anchor the OID tree for the more specific Timetra MIBs that do carry pollable chassis, service, and interface data.
