What Is ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-TC-MIB?
ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-TC-MIB is a Nokia/Alcatel-Lucent MIB defining the shared SNMP textual conventions (custom data types) used throughout the Alcatel-Lucent/Nokia 7x50 SR service router (SROS) manageability instrumentation. It contains no runtime data tables or monitorable objects of its own (sample_objects is empty); its sole purpose is to define common data types—such as enumerations, index formats, and specialized counters—that the many TIMETRA-*/ALCATEL-IND1-* functional MIBs (e.g., TIMETRA-PORT-MIB, TN-SERV-MIB) import for consistency. As such it exposes no direct hardware or software status data—no uptime, temperature, or counters are defined here—since that runtime data lives in the functional MIBs that use these conventions. It has an explicit, foundational dependency relationship as it underpins nearly every other Timetra/Alcatel-Lucent SR MIB module in the family. It is deployed only in conjunction with Nokia/Alcatel-Lucent 7x50 SR (SROS) routers, never as an independently monitored module. Checking the ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-TC-MIB OID space is worthwhile mainly when a downstream Timetra MIB's textual convention fails to resolve during compilation, since the module carries no monitorable data of its own.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-TC-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Nokia 7750 SR-1s (2024) — FP5-based fixed-configuration edge/core service router in the current 7750 SR-s series
Monitoring Examples
Since this module defines only textual conventions and has no sample_objects, there is no direct monitoring scenario—it supplies shared data types consumed by other Timetra MIBs such as TIMETRA-PORT-MIB and TN-SERV-MIB. Real monitoring of port, service, or system status on a 7x50 SR router would be performed against those functional MIBs that reference the conventions defined here.
