Description:
When vRtrIfDirectedBroadcast is set to 'true', allows broadcasts directed to this interface to be accepted. When 'false', directed broadcasts are dropped. This is of particular use when preventing denial of service attacks.
What is vRtrIfDirectedBroadcast?
Controls whether this virtual router interface accepts directed broadcast packets addressed to its subnet. Setting it to false drops directed broadcasts, which helps defend against denial-of-service attacks such as Smurf attacks.
