This object controls whether the DHCP relay agent uses the circuit ID field in DHCP option 82 to match client replies with requests, in addition to the standard MAC address and transaction ID. Option 82 includes additional information inserted by the relay agent. When enabled, it provides more precise matching and security in multi-subscriber environments. An operator would enable this in networks where multiple clients share the same MAC address (such as virtual machines).
